Model Creation Week1

Okay, so new Maya related course. This time, we did far more complex models and had a lot more to do. We had to make four large props to fill a given room. I chose a bench, table, chair, and bookshelf. I spent nearly three days just on the bookshelf, trying to get it perfect. Then I realised I still had three to do and I found myself rushing to get them done.  So, time management wasn't great this week.
The chair I did too a very long time to get the design to look the way I wanted.

For whatever reason the mirror tool hated me when I tried to make a  copy of the leg design.
Also, I forgot to place holding edges before I turned this in.  Make sure to place holding edges because without them your model will look completely different when in smooth mode (hot key: 3 to preview).

Here are the chair and table.

I made the drawer separate so that I could open and close it. what took the longest to get done for this model would have to be the handle, so much detail on the smallest part of the model.
