I learned from last week and made my models first and was able to make all three including UVs. but this week I had to add texture and detail with ZBrush. ZBrush is not my friend. I took forever trying to figure it out, watching and rewatching my teacher's explanation and I was still lost. Also, I tried to look at the reference and draw it out. that is until I noticed by accident the greatest setting ever. At the top of the page, there is a transparency bar that would make the program transparent. It allowed me to trace the design on to get a better representation of what I was trying to replicate. Too bad I was already finished with this weeks work when I realized. Oh well, at least I'll know for the future.
The belt on this book took forever. If anyone can tell me how to not make it black I would greatly appreciate it.
I'm not sure if its supposed to be blue...
Making designs on a cylindrical surface is far more difficult than on a flat one. I was unable to make this one look even decent design wise.
